Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to amend an existing agreement with Donohue & Associates for engineering services related to LED fixtures for the Fire Department buildings and other City own buildings in an amount not to exceed $4,000.

Whereas, WE Energies Focus on Energy program provides funding for changing out old lighting fixtures to energy efficient fixtures such as LED; and,

 

Whereas, the Fire Department looked into and is interested in a project to change out their old fixtures for new fixtures that will meet the requires of Focus on Energy; and,

 

Whereas, since the Public Works/Engineering Department has responsibility for all City owned buildings the Fire Department has asked for help with preparing specifications and bidding the work out.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that up to $4,000 is hereby approved for Donohue & Associates to prepare specifications which will be forwarded to the Director of Public Works/City Engineer for public bidding.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to enter into an amended agreement for engineering services with Donohue and Associates with funding from the appropriate account.
