Resolution to consider amending the Community Development Block Grant-CV Program, Rental and Mortgage Assistance Program, income limits
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis approved an amendment to the FY 2019 Annual Action Plan for the allocation and use of the Community Development Block Grant-CV funds under Resolution #R-2020-0241; and,
WHEREAS, the projects were established to enable the City of West Allis to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic; and,
WHEREAS, the amendment to the FY 2019 Annual Action Plan included a Rental and Mortgage Assistance Program to assist individuals or households at or below 30% of the County Median Income; and,
WHEREAS, since adopting the above programs, various other programs have been implemented with higher income standards to assist individuals at or below 80% County Median Income.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby approves amending the Community Development Block Grant-CV program relative to the Rental and Mortgage Assistance Program income limits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby adopts the 80% County Median Income limits for the Rental and Mortgage Assistance Program as provided below:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Development or his designee, be and is hereby authorized and directed to carry out these amendments for said funds.
