Resolution authorizing the Director of Development to enter into an amended landscape design/architectural services contract for construction oversite with Ayres Associates, for Roosevelt Park and Klentz Park in an amount not to exceed $17,988 per park (totaling $35,976).
Body
WHEREAS, the City entered into an amended contract with Ayres Associates through Resolution No. R-2017-0047 for landscape design/architectural services contract for plans and specifications for playground/park designs for Roosevelt Park and Klentz Park; and,
WHEREAS, the City has interest in making park/playground improvements at Roosevelt Park and Klentz Park, and construction oversite needs to be completed for both said parks; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Development recommends that the City enter into an amended landscape design/architectural services contract for construction oversite with Ayres Associates, for both Roosevelt Park and Klentz Park in an amount not to exceed $17,988 per park (totaling $35,976).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:
1. That the Director of Development, or his designee, is authorized to enter into an amended landscape design/architectural services contract for construction oversite with Ayres Associates, for both Roosevelt Park and Klentz Park, in an amount not to exceed $17,988 per park (totaling $35,976).
2. That the sum of $17,988 for Roosevelt Park be and is hereby appropriated from Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and/or Tax Increment Finance District Seven ("TID 7") funds.
3. That the sum of $17,988 for Klentz Park be and is hereby appropriated from the Parks and Open Spaces fund (Account #353-6013-552-3102).
4. That the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive and non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and ame...
