Title

Resolution relative to amending City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual Policy No. 404, Recruitment, Selection, Appointment and Confirmation for City Officials and Department Heads.

Body

WHEREAS, Policy No. 404, Recruitment, Selection, Appointment and Confirmation for City Officials and Department Heads, was originally included in the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual in December 2005; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend said policy at this time to provide opportunity for flexibility in future recruiting efforts and in recognition of the organizational reporting structure; and

WHEREAS, the amendments have been reviewed by the Mayor, City Attorney, City Administrator, and Human Resources Director.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Policy No. 404, Recruitment, Selection, Appointment and Confirmation for City Officials and Department Heads, is approved as amended.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is authorized and directed to include the amended Policy No. 404 in the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual in the Mayor section and distribute said policy to all departments, divisions, and offices.
