Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to amend an existing agreement with Donohue & Associates, Inc. for Engineering Consulting Services related to the construction of a new emergency generator located at the City’s 96th Street Pump Station in an amount not to exceed $110,000.

WHEREAS, the City has an existing agreement with Donohue & Associates, Inc. for Engineering Consulting Services for the design and installation of emergency generator systems at the Fire Department Administration Building, Fire Station Number 3 and Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City had contracted Donohue & Associates, Inc. to analyze alternate scenarios and provide cost estimates for updating electrical equipment, and the installation of a new generator at the 96th St. Pumping Station in April 2023; and,
WHEREAS, the City will need further assistance from Donohue & Associates, Inc. to perform the design, bidding and construction services for the installation of a standby generator at the 96th Street Pump Station; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that up to $110,000 is hereby approved for Donohue & Associates, Inc. for the design and construction services for a new standby generator located at the 96th Street Pump Station; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to enter into an amended agreement for Engineering Consulting Services with Donohue & Associates, Inc.; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding for this work has been budgeted and will be charged to Account Number 501-2901-537.30-02, Professional Services/Consultants.
