Resolution to approve bid of State Contractors Inc. for sidewalk repairs in various locations in the City of West Allis in the amount of $388,999.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of State Contractors Inc. for 2024 Project No. 1 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of State Contractors Inc. for 2024 Project No. 1 for the replacement or repair of concrete sidewalk in:
General Area Bounded by S. 78th St. to S. 68th St. and
Union Pacific Railroad to the South City Limits
and
General Area Bounded by S. 92nd St. to S. 78th St. and
Union Pacific Railroad to W. Cleveland Ave.
for the sum of Three Hundred, Eighty-eight Thousand, Nine Hundred Ninety-nine and 00/100 dollars ($388,999) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Bond Funds and Special Assessments.
