Resolution relative to the agreement with the Village of West Milwaukee for public works services for years 2023-2026.

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis has a Department of Public Works that can provide specific services to a neighboring municipality; and
WHEREAS, the Village of West Milwaukee has requested assistance from the Department of Public Works to provide such services; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of both the City and Village to enter into an intergovernmental agreement on the provision of such services and is consistent the City of West Allis 2022-2026 Strategic Plan which includes one of the aspirations as collaboration and shared services;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of West Allis, in the State of Wisconsin, that the attached 2023-2026 Agreement for Public Works Services is hereby approved.
