Resolution granting a Ten-Year Conservation Easement by the City of West Allis to Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) to preserve the Green Infrastructure facilities on City Property.

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis ("City") has agreed to grant to MMSD, a Conservation Easement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, on the property located in the City and legally described in Exhibit "A" of the Easement; and,
WHEREAS, MMSD is willing to accept all the terms and conditions of said Easement; and,
WHEREAS, The purpose of this covenant is to ensure that the installed Green Infrastructure is maintained properly by the City of West Allis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:
1. That the Conservation Easement between the City of West Allis and MMSD, which is attached hereto and incorporate herein by reference, be and the same is hereby accepted and approved.
2. That the Mayor and the City Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached Conservation Easement on behalf of the City of West Allis.
