Resolution Amending Fee Schedule - Inserting engineering excavation permit fees/bond amounts and making other updates.

WHEREAS, the common council seeks to update the fee schedule as necessary to ensure fees imposed are reasonable and appropriate;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City Of West Allis, in the State of Wisconsin, as follows:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Engineering section is amended to change the excavation permit fee to $75 plus $10 per 100 square feet, plus $0.50 per linear foot of boring with a minimum fee of $100.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Engineering section is amended by creating a temporary obstruction/excavation bond table under Sectoin 6 says imposes a default amount of $7.36 per square foot of concrete pavement + $9.92 per square foot of asphalt over a concrete base + $3.78 per square foot of asphalt pavement + $9.20 per square foot of early strength concrete + $7.00 per square foot of sidewalk or driveway approach + $36.65 per linear foot of concrete curb & gutter + $29.91 per square foot of sod. In addition, for any excavation for plumbing purposes, the minimum bond is $367.00. In addition, for any excavation for environmental purposes, the minimum bond is $1,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk section is amended by removing the amendment to premises row from the Alcohol Licensing subsection and moving it to the Administrative Table within the Clerk Fees subsection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk section is amended by removing all references to late fees from the Other Business License subsection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk section is amended by creating a provisional license for any licensee whose renewal application will not be considered by the common council prior to expiration.
