Resolution authorizing the City Administrator to enter into a contract/professional service agreement with one or more of the financial firms listed within this resolution to provide temporary finance staffing for a total sum not to exceed $35,000
Body
WHEREAS, the Finance Director, Peggy Steeno, has submitted her resignation effective July 5, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Kris Moen, the Deputy Finance Director, has agreed to be the acting Finance Director until a new Finance Director is appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Department requires additional assistance until the new Finance Director is hired to complete its required duties and responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City Administrator is authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with one or more of the following firms providing temporary finance staffing for a total sum not to exceed $35,000 among all firms:
• 22nd Century Technologies, Inc. (MBE)
• Baker Tilly
• CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (fka Titus)
• Experis US, INc.
• GovHR
• Quick Financial Solutions, LLC (MBE)
• Robert Half
• TMI Consulting, LLC (MBE)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is directed and authorized to fund this effort through the transfer of budgeted funds in the amount of $35,000 from the Finance Salary and Wages Account #100-1401-515.11-01 to the Finance Department Consulting Account, Account No. 100-1401-515.30-02.
