Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Vanguard Computers, Inc. for furnishing and delivering (65) sixty five HP ProDesk 400 G6 i3 desktop computers with 128 GB Solid State Drive, with 3-year NBD Onsite Extended Warranty for a sum of $29,853.85, and (12) twelve HP ProBook 450 G7 i3 laptop computers, with 3-year NBD Onsite Extended Warranty for a sum of $6,699.96, with Green Packaging Services for $325.00 and the proposal from CDW-G for (67) sixty seven Microsoft Office Standard 2019 licenses, and (3) three Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2019 licenses for a sum of $4,286.58, for a total sum of $41,165.39

WHEREAS, these desktop and laptop computers with software will be utilized at the West Allis Public Library for patrons at the public internet computer stations; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering (65) sixty five HP ProDesk 400 Desktop computers with 3-year extended warranty, (12) twelve HP ProBook 450 with 3-year extended warranty, and (70) seventy various Microsoft Office 2019 licenses and that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, these (65) sixty five desktop computers, and (12) twelve laptops computers are being purchased as replacements for older computers as part of our 5-year computer replacement program; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposals of Vanguard Computers, Inc. and CDW-G be accepted, pending approval by the West Allis Library Board on their next meeting, March 25, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 21, 2020, submitted by Vanguard Computers, Inc., for furnishing sixty five (65) HP Pro Desk 400 G6, 128 GB SSD, i3-9100, Windows 10 Pro, desktop computers with a HP 3-year, Next Business Day, on-site Extended warranty for a total net su...
