Resolution to approve bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for the installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, driveway replacement, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer, storm sewer relay, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments in W. Grant St. from S. 60 St. to W. Beloit Rd. within the City of West Allis in the amount of $1,225,246.27

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2020 Project No. 1 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2020 Project No. 1 for the installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, driveway replacement, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer, storm sewer relay, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments in:
W. Grant St. from S. 60 St. to W. Beloit Rd.
(PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1242, W-1394, W-1395, W-1396, U-2649, U-2650, U-2651)
for the sum of One Million, Two Hundred Twenty-five Thousand, Two Hundred Forty-Six and 27/100 dollars ($1,225,246.27)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds and Funds from Sp...
