Resolution relative to the transfer of $35,000 from the City of West Allis Assessor Department’s Salary & Wages Account and $4,200 from Supplies Account into its Professional Services Account to fulfill the remaining contract with Tyler Technologies

WHEREAS, the 2019 City of West Allis Adopted Budget included funding for an appraiser position; and
WHEREAS, the 2019 City of West Allis Adopted Budget included funding for anticipated increased costs in postage associated with the commercial revaluation; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to fulfill the professional services contract with Tyler Technologies; and
WHEREAS, funding is available within the Assessor’s overall budget due to the appraiser position not being filled in 2019 and lower than anticipated postage costs associated with the commercial revaluation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City of West Allis Assessor’s Department is authorized to transfer funds of $35,000 from its Salary & Wages Account No.100-0501-517.11-01 and $4,200 from its Supplies Account No.100-0501-517.51-01 to its Professional Services Account No.100-0501-517.30-04, and said transfer is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City Officers are authorized and directed to take appropriate action to implement said actions.
