Title

Resolution to amend Section 8.0(3)(L)3 of the City of West Allis Policies and Procedures Manual Policy No. 1410, Total Benefit Package (TBP), relating to Health and Dental Insurance for Elected Officials (Municipal Judge)

Body

WHEREAS, Policy No. 1410, Total Benefit Package (TBP), was originally adopted on October 2, 2018, and most recently amended on November 5, 2019; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend said policy at this time to enact a policy that provides health care premium rates for the municipal judge that are equal to full-time employees even though the judge is classified as less than 1.0 FTE; and

WHEREAS, the classification shall be made specific to the position of municipal judge so it will apply to whoever is in that position.

NOW, THEREORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Section 8.0(3)(L)3 of Policy No. 1410, Total Benefit Package (TBP), is approved as presented in the attached copy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is authorized and directed to include the amended Policy No. 1410 in the City’s Policies & Procedures Manual and distribute said policy to all departments, divisions, and offices.
