Resolution to approve amending the FY2019 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council has approved the FY2019 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plans under Resolution R-2019-0402; and,
WHEREAS, the creation of a Homeless Outreach Program and ERAS Senior Network Neighborhood Outreach Program, are eligible activities and associated activity costs are eligible for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and,
WHEREAS, the projects enhance the neighborhood for low/moderate income families; and,
WHEREAS, the utilization of CDBG funds for the previously stated activities meet HUD requirements for the CDBG program; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed amendments were presented to the Community Development Block Grant Committee and the Director of Development recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby amends:
FY2019 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan, B-19-MC-55-0011, to allocate $59,500 of FY2019 unallocated new funds for a total funding of $59,500 to following activities:
1. Creation of a Homeless Outreach Program project with a budget of $30,000 from unallocated 2019 CDBG funds.
2. Creation of an ERAS Senior Network Neighborhood Outreach project with a budget of $29,500 from unallocated 2019 CDBG funds.
