Resolution to approve bid of Zignego Company, Inc. for the installation of a reinforced concrete pad and installation of exercise equipment in Veteran’s Park located at W. National Ave. & S. 70 St. in the City of West Allis in the amount of $77,254

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Zignego Company, Inc. for 2019 Project No. 17 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Zignego Company, Inc. for 2019 Project No. 17 for the installation of a reinforced concrete pad and installation of exercise equipment in Veteran’s Park located at W. National Ave. & S. 70 St. in the City of West Allis for the sum of Seventy-Seven Thousand, Two Hundred Fifty-Four dollars ($77,254)

 

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Community Development Block Grant funds and private grant funds.
