Resolution to approve bid of D&H Demolition, LLC, Inc. for the demolition of the former flower shop which includes, but it not limited to mobilization / demobilization, asbestos abatement and hazardous material removal, building demolition and backfilling, and topsoil/seeding in accordance with the specifications located at 9201 W. National Avenue in the City of West Allis in the amount of $24,315.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of D&H Demolition, LLC, Inc. for 2019 Project No. 15 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of D&H Demolition, LLC, Inc. for 2019 Project No. 15 for the demolition of the former flower shop which includes, but it not limited to mobilization / demobilization, asbestos abatement and hazardous material removal, building demolition and backfilling, and topsoil/seeding in accordance with the specifications at

for the sum of Twenty-Four Thousand, Three Hundred Fifteen and 00/100 dollars ($24,315.00)

 

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from Property Maintenance Expenses.
