Title
Resolution extending the Agreement for Professional Services with The Horton Group for furnishing Employee Health Benefit Consulting Services for the period October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2022, with an overall three year cost of $187,500.

Body
WHEREAS, the Finance Department, City Administrator, and Human Resources Department staff, guided by the Administration and Finance Committee's direction to engage in a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to obtain benefit consulting services for in 2017, conducted said RFP process; and

WHEREAS, a two year contract (October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2019) was awarded to The Horton Group (File No. R-2017-0228) based on their extensive experience and expertise with municipal organizations and development of innovative and proactive methods of cost control, elected official and employee communications; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the agreement with The Horton Group be extended for three years.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by The Horton Group for providing Employee Benefit Consulting Services for a three year period, with an overall cost of $187,500, be and is hereby accepted. Funding for this agreement is budgeted and available in the Health Insurance Fund, and these services will be charged to Account No. 602-9101-517.30-02, Professional Services.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City of West Allis that the City Administrator is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute the contract and negotiate the terms and conditions substantially in conformance with the purpose(s) of this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make any substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various consulting Contract documents, including but not limited to all attachments, exhibits, addendu...
