WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Northway Fence, Inc. for 2019 Project No. 13 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Northway Fence, Inc. for 2019 Project No. 13 for:
Installation of fence, gates, gravel, and a bridge at:
South of the West Allis Police Station, 11301 W. Lincoln Avenue, Former Landfill Site
Access on W. Hayes Avenue
for the sum of Seventy Two Thousand, Six Hundred Thirty-four & 00/100dollars ($72,634.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for the same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHERED RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding that has been budgeted and is available with the improvements charged to Account Number 353-6013.552.31-01.
