Title

Resolution to approve the amended City of West Allis Emergency Operations Plan.

Body

WHEREAS, Wisconsin State Statute, Chapter 166 (4)(a), requires that each municipality and county in the State create and maintain an Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) which addresses its planned response to emergency situations; and

WHEREAS, the Fire Chief serves as the City’s Emergency Manager; and

WHEREAS, the most current copy of the Emergency Operations Plan dated June 2019, is attached.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the amended Emergency Operations Plan is hereby adopted as presented in the attached copy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Chief, in the capacity as the Emergency Manager, shall exercise due diligence to maintain the EOP as a vital, current, and dynamic plan to address all hazards.
