Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Neher Electric for furnishing and delivering 11 each Holophane Street light poles with Led light fixture, side arms, and banner arms for a total sum of $44,770.00.

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a proposal from Neher Electric through a competitive bid process for furnishing and delivering 11 each Holophane decorative street light poles with fixtures, to be installed on National Ave. between 67^th and 70^th street., for the Department of Public Works of the City of West Allis, and that the proposal was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Neher Electric, dated June 12, 2019 for furnishing  decorative Holophane street light poles and accessories, to match other street projects in the area, for $44,770.00 be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Neher Electric ($44,770.00) with funding provided by F.I.R.E. due to the desire for matching aesthetics within the National Ave area, charged to Inventory Account Number:  100-0000-141.01-00, be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforementioned material.
