Title
Resolution authorizing the City Administrator to enter into a professional service agreement with Carlson Dettmann Consulting, LLC to review our existing pay structure for market competitiveness, and assistance in administering the Gallup Q12 survey for employee engagement for a cost of $12,500.

Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis (the "City") set aside funds in the 2019 Budget for special studies and a Q12 survey for the City of West Allis; and

WHEREAS, our current pay structure was adopted in 2017 and the low unemployment rate and job market has made it exceedingly difficult to fill certain positions making it necessary to review the pay structure to ensure market competitiveness; and

WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal to enter into a professional service agreement with Carlson Dettmann Consulting, LLC to provide such services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the professional service agreement with Carlson Dettmann Consulting, LLC, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, be and is hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator be and is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the aforesaid agreement on behalf of the City.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the agreement, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
