Title
Resolution to approve a Commercial Fa?ade Improvement Contract by and between the City of West Allis and Developing DTWA LLC, property owner for the property located at 7311-13-15 W. Greenfield Ave., in an amount up to $57,082.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis offers a facade improvement program funded with Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG); and,

WHEREAS, Developing DTWA LLC, owner of the property located at 7311 W. Greenfield Ave., applied for a facade grant to address issues of slum & blight; and,

WHEREAS, the project of fa?ade renovation & improvement is eligible for a CDBG grant under the Commercial Fa?ade Improvement Program; and,

WHEREAS, the applicant is planning a significant renovation of the property and the fa?ade grant will help advance the project and leverage private investment; and,

WHEREAS, the project amount shall not exceed $57,082 based on a grant amount up to $52,082 and grant delivery costs up to $5,000.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Commercial Facade Improvement Project Contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, be and is hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Development, or his designee, be and is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the aforesaid Contract on behalf of the City.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
