Resolution to approve bid of Poblocki Paving Corporation for the construction of an asphalt parking lot, permeable interlocking concrete pavement system, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, pavement marking, landscaping and utility adjustments in the West Allis Public Library Parking Lot located at 7421 West National Avenue and the West Allis Downtown Parking Lot Located Between S. 72nd Street and S. 73rd Street, North of Greenfield Avenue, in the City of West Allis in the amount of $847,307.00

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Poblocki Paving Corporation for 2019 Project No. 5 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Poblocki Paving Corporation for 2019 Project No. 5 for the construction of an asphalt parking lot, permeable interlocking concrete pavement system, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, pavement marking, landscaping and utility adjustments in:
West Allis Public Library Parking Lot
7421 West National Avenue
West Allis, WI 53214
and
West Allis Downtown Parking Lot
Located Between S. 72nd Street and S. 73rd Street,
North of Greenfield Avenue
for the sum of Eight Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand, Three Hundred Seven and 00/100 dollars ($847,307.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
