Title

Resolution approving a Community Engagement & Park Study for the McKinley Park/Fairview Park Neighborhood with Ayres Associates in an amount not to exceed $10,000.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City has interest in making park/playground improvements in the Fairview Park Neighborhood and designs, plans and specifications need to be completed for these future park improvements; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Development recommends that the City enter into an amended landscape design/architectural services contract for neighborhood engagement and park plans and specifications for playground/park designs in an amount not to exceed $10,000, with Ayres Associates.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:

 

1.                     That the Director of Development, or his designee, is authorized to enter into an amended landscape design/architectural services contract for plans and specifications for Fairview Park Neighborhood Engagement & Park Study for playground/park designs for the City, with Ayres Associates, in an amount not to exceed $10,000 per the attached Scope of Services.

 

2.                     That the sum of $10,000 be and is hereby appropriated from Tax Incremental Finance District No. 16 (S. 70th Street Corridor development project) (Account #316-6606-563-3002  Project T16010) funds.

 

3.                     That the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
