Resolution accepting the transfer of land ownership for the S. 70th St. Gateway from the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis to the City of West Allis.
Body
WHEREAS, the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis (the “Authority”) is the owner of property located at 835 S. 70 St. (Tax Key Number 440-0004-003); and,
WHEREAS, the Authority acquired said land to beautify the City with the Gateway feature, and now that the beautification is completed, would like the City of West Allis to continue maintenance of this feature; and,
WHEREAS, the Authority, authorized the transfer of land ownership from the Authority to the City of West Allis, through Resolution No. 1308, adopted November 13, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby accepts conveyance of the property located at 835 S. 70 St. (Tax Key No. 440-0004-003) from the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis to the City of West Allis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director, or his designee, is authorized to convey the deed and sign all real estate closing documents on behalf of the Authority.
