Resolution to approve bid of J&A Pohl, Inc. for the installation of concrete pavement patching, concrete curb & gutter, manhole adjustments and utility adjustments in various locations throughout the City of West Allis in the amount of $220,807.90.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of J&A Pohl, Inc. for 2018 Project No. 6 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of J&A Pohl, Inc. for 2018 Project No. 6 for installation of concrete pavement patching, concrete curb & gutter, manhole adjustments and utility adjustments in:

 

Various Locations throughout City of West Allis

for the sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand, Eight Hundred Seven & 90/100 dollars ($220,807.90)

 

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds and Funds from Special Assessments.
