Title
Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of AssetWorks for furnishing hardware, software, maintenance, and implementation of AssetWorks Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for a six-year total sum not to exceed $750,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, up to $200,000 has been approved as part of the 2017 Capital Budget ($150,000) and an extra allocation in the 2017 to 2018 carryover process ($50,000), and another $550,000 is being requested through the 2019-2023 Capital Improvement Program process; and

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department has reported that it received competitive proposals from multiple vendors for software, maintenance, and implementation of an EAM solution for the City of West Allis Public Works Department, and the proposal received by AssetWorks, as shown on the attached bid report, is reasonable; and

WHEREAS, the City Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the Software License Agreement and the Hosting Services Agreement; and

WHEREAS, the City Information Technology Department has reviewed and approved the EAM Scope of Work; and

WHEREAS, this solution is being purchased to upgrade service levels of the Public Works Department by improving inspection and preventive maintenance activities, by helping prioritize work and related tasks for improved project execution, and by minimizing operational costs via consolidated reporting and by elimination of data input duplication; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of AssetWorks be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated June 8, 2018, submitted by AssetWorks for furnishing hardware, software, maintenance, and implementation of AssetWorks Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), in accordance with City of West Allis RFQ-18-005, with funding for this purchase to be provided by General City Funds, as budgeted through the Capital Improvement Program...
