Title

Resolution declaring the Food Truck Takeover, scheduled on five Wednesdays from May 30, 2018 to October 3, 2018 at the Farmer’s Market, a Community Event.

Body

WHEREAS, the Community Development Authority has allocated funding for participation in the MilwaukeeFood.com Inc. “Food Truck Takeover”  that will include live entertainment, 10-15 food vendors, children's games on five Wednesdays from May 30 to October 3, 2018; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Common Council of the City of West Allis wish to support this event and provide resources needed to ensure its success.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of West Allis declares the Food Truck Takeover as a community event and will provide the necessary permits to host the events and other support as necessary.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the aforesaid agreement on behalf of the City of West Allis.
