Resolution of Commendation for Monica Schultz.
Body
WHEREAS, Monica Schultz will leave office effective February 9, 2018, after nineteen years of service to the City of West Allis; and
WHEREAS, during her career, Monica has served the citizens of West Allis as Clerk I, Clerk II, Clerk III, Clerk Specialist, Assistant City Clerk, Deputy City Clerk, and City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, prior to serving the City of West Allis, Monica received her bachelor’s degree from Marquette University; and
WHEREAS, Monica has been instrumental in the expansion of Legistar Software to numerous boards and committees in the city of West Allis; and
WHEREAS, Monica has been active in the Metro Milwaukee Clerk’s Association serving various roles including president and treasurer; and
WHEREAS, Monica is a member of WI Municipal Clerks Association and International Institute of Municipal Clerks; and
WHEREAS, in 2002, Monica attended the Municipal Clerks and Treasurer’s Institute; and
WHEREAS, Monica is deserving of special commendation for her many contributions to her profession and for making West Allis a better place to live and work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Monica Schultz, City Clerk, be and is hereby specially commended for her dedication and service to the citizens of West Allis and congratulates her for a job well done.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby extends to Monica Schultz its best wishes for her continued success.
Let this Resolution be entered in the official minutes of the Common Council and a certified copy go forth to Monica Schultz.
