Title
Resolution authorizing the submittal of an Offer to Purchase to Milwaukee County for the property located at 52** W. Burnham St. in the amount of the Milwaukee County appraised value of $850,000.

Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Administrative Services, Milwaukee County, authorized an Invitation to Bid on the Tax Foreclosure Vacant Land (Bid No. 7259); and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis (the "City"), authorizes the Director of Development to submit an Offer to Purchase the property located at 52** W. Burnham St.; and,

WHEREAS, bids are due on or before the December 6, 2017 submission deadline until 2:00 p.m.; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Development is duly authorized and directed to proceed to submit an offer for the acquisition of the Property; and,

WHEREAS, the City Attorney will review all terms and conditions of the Offer to Purchase.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, the Director of Development is directed to execute an Offer to Purchase for the property located at 52** W. Burnham St.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of West Allis, as follows:

1. That the Director of Development, or his designee, is hereby authorized and directed to take any and all other actions on behalf of the City which he deems necessary or desirable in connection with the aforementioned acquisition.

2. That the Director of Development, or his designee, with the approval of the City Attorney, or his designee, is hereby authorized and directed to take any and all other actions deemed necessary or desirable by him to effectuate the intent of the project.

3. That the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the acquisition and/or any other documents as may be necessary, proper or convenient to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity, and otherwise c...
