Title
Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Monroe Truck Company for furnishing and delivering one (1) 10-yard Stainless Steel Dump Body with a plow and spreader package for $59,480.00, and the proposal of Lakeside International Truck for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2018 International Cab and Chassis, Model# 7400 SBA 4X2 for $92,175.00, for a total net sum of $151,655.00 for the single axle plow/dump truck with a gross vehicle weight of 43,000 pounds.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received cooperative proposals through the National Joint Power Alliance (NJPA), Contract #080114-MTE, for delivering one (1) Monroe stainless steel dump body with plow and spreader package, and NJPA Contract #081716-NVS for delivering one (1) 2018 International Model# 7400 SBA 4X2 cab and chassis for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis; and

WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division of the Public Works Department has determined that this contract meets all desired specifications and that the cooperative agreement proposal received is reasonable; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of Monroe Truck Company and Lakeside International Trucks be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated July 31, 2017, submitted by Monroe Truck Equipment for furnishing and delivering one (1) new 10-yard Stainless Steel Dump Body with a plow and spreader package, and the proposal dated November 6, 2017, by Lakeside International for the total net sum of $151,655.00, be and are hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the purchase of the above-described items, for an amount of $151,655.00, is hereby authorized.
