Resolution approving an amendment to the FY2015 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan.
Body
WHEREAS, there are $80,425 in various excess balances from previously-funded Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) activities; and,
WHEREAS, the award of funds must be allocated to programs and activities meeting national objectives of the CDBG Program, such as assisting the needs of low- to moderate-income people and preventing or eliminating slums or blight; and,
WHEREAS, an amendment to funding of the existing 2015 Slum Blight Removal/Various Addresses activity is listed below and shall hereby be approved; and,
WHEREAS, the allocation of said funds meets the CDBG eligibility requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Development recommends the allocation and transfer of said CDBG funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, that the following amendment to the FY2015 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan is hereby approved:
1) Amendment to the FY2015 Community Development Block Grant Action Plans,
B-15-MC-55-0011 relative to closing various 2015 activities and transferring a total of approximately $13,852 of unused funds to a new 2015 SlumBlight Rmvl Var Addresses activity.
