Title

Resolution rescinding the resolution relative to the establishment of the Information Technology Steering Committee. 

Body

WHEREAS, Resolution R-2014-0456, passed on December 16, 2014, established the Information Technology Steering Committee.

WHEREAS, the IT Steering Committee has met and assisted in establishing priorities and goals since its inception; and

WHEREAS, a project manager position will be hired to facilitate the completion of projects; and

WHEREAS, the IT Director may establish internal work groups to identify and accomplish the technological priorities of the City as needed; and

WHEREAS, in order to streamline and improve processes, the IT Steering Committee is dissolved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the IT Steering Committee be dissolved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all departments, divisions, and offices shall be so notified.
