Resolution accepting work of Bluemel’s Maintenance Service, Inc. for construction of a new playground area and resurfaced asphalt basketball courts and tennis courts and new concrete surface for a new skateboard park in Liberty Heights Park at 6101 West Orchard Street and for construction of a new playground area in Veterans Memorial Park at 6900 West National Avenue in the City of West Allis and authorizing and directing settlement of said contract in accordance with contract terms for final payment of 2016 Project No. 6 in the amount of $14,000.17 of the $577,770.41 total project cost.

WHEREAS, Bluemel’s Maintenance Service, Inc. has completed their contractual obligations in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore, attested by the approval for payment by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the work of Bluemel’s Maintenance Service, Inc. for 2016 Project No. 6 for construction of a new playground area and resurfaced asphalt basketball courts and tennis courts and new concrete surface for a new skateboard park in:
Liberty Heights Park
6101 West Orchard Street
PLAN FILE NOS. B-819
and for construction of a new playground area in:
Veterans Memorial Park
6900 West National Avenue
PLAN FILE NOS. B-820
be and the same is hereby accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to make settlement with the said contractor in accordance with terms of said contract.
