Resolution relative to determination of Special Use Permit for The Market at Six Points Apartments, a proposed multi-family apartment building, to be located within the NoNa portion of The Market at Six Points redevelopment at 6620 & 6700 W. National Ave.

Body
WHEREAS, Emily Pier, d/b/a Mandel Group, Inc., duly filed with the City Clerk an application for a Special Use Permit; pursuant to Sec. 12.16 and Sec. 12.42(2) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis, for a multi-family residential use; and,

WHEREAS, after due notice, a public hearing was held by the Common Council on October 3, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers to consider the application; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council, having carefully considered the evidence presented at the public hearing and the following pertinent facts noted:

1. Emily Pier, d/b/a Mandel Group, Inc., has offices at 330 East Kilbourn Avenue, Suite 600 South, Milwaukee, WI 53202.

2. The property is currently owned by the Community Development Authority, but is proposed to be purchased by the Mandel Group, Inc. The subject property is located at 14** S. Six Points Crossing and would encompass the southern 4.8641 acres of the property. The new apartment buildings will have addresses of 6620 and 6700 W. National Ave., respectively, West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; more particularly described as follows, to-wit:

All that land of the owner being located in the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township 6 North, Range 21 East, City of West Allis, Milwaukee County, State of Wisconsin describes as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 3; thence North 88?05'31" East, 749.03 feet, along the North line of said Northeast 1/4; thence South 01?53'33" East, 93.00 feet; thence North 88?05'31" East, 10.00 feet to the West right-of-way line of Six Point Crossing; thence South 01?53'33" East, 225.01 feet along said right-of-way line to the ...
