Title
Ordinance to repeal and recreate subsection 13.28(10)(l) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code, Chapter 13, Building Code relative to Prohibited Parking on Private Property.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsection 13.28 (10) (l) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows:
13.28 Property Maintenance Code.

(10) Outdoor Areas to be Maintained. Outdoor areas shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition and shall not be permitted to be a blighting influence to the surrounding properties, the neighborhood or the City in general.

(l) Prohibited Parking on Private Property
1. It is prohibited for vehicle owners or persons having custody of a vehicle to:
a. Park or store any private passenger vehicle, truck, boat, camper, snowmobile, recreational vehicle, mobile home, trailer, or any similar vehicle on an unpaved surface or lawn.
b. Park or store any vehicle not in accordance with the Zoning Code.
c. Park, store, or advertise any vehicle that is for sale on a commercial parcel which is not licensed and permitted for vehicle sales.
d. Park or store any vehicle on property with a principle use that is vacant.
e. Park or store any abandoned vehicle, as defined in Section 6.015.
f. Park or store any vehicle on property that has no principle use or does not have a Commercial Parking Lot occupancy permit.
2. It is prohibited for any person to permit or allow to remain the parking, storage, or advertising for sale of any vehicle that is prohibited in subsection one (1) of this code, on property that the person controls or owns.
PART II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
