Title
Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to extend the professional services contract with SEH Design/Build, Inc. for another 5 years for general maintenance of the 116th Street & Rogers Street and 84th Street & National Avenue elevated water tanks in an amount not to exceed $200,000.

Body
WHEREAS, the Water Utility of the Department of Public Works has identified the need to provide for general maintenance of the City's two 1.5 million gallon elevated water tanks at 116th Street & West Rogers Streets and at 84th Street & National Avenue in compliance with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources rules and regulations; and,

WHEREAS, since 2007 SEH Design/Build, Inc. has been providing engineering services associated with maintenance and inspection of the towers; and,

WHEREAS, staff has been satisfied with the services provided by SEH and recommends that the current agreement be extended for another five years through 2021.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby authorizes and directs the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to enter into an extension agreement with SEH, for the purpose of providing general maintenance services consistent with the terms and conditions of past agreements attached hereto for a fee not to exceed two hundred thousand dollars for both water towers funding to be provided by the City of West Allis Water Utility.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, with the approval of the City Attorney, be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the attached draft agreement, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof and to protect the interests of the City, including but no...
