Resolution to approve a Staffing Agreement between Aerotek, Inc. and the City of West Allis to provide emergency temporary help for the City of West Allis Engineering Department for a total sum not to exceed $25,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, The West Allis Engineering Department has a significantly increased workload this summer due to:

1. $616,000 in increased funding from the WisDNR and special assessments for Private Lead Service Line Replacement.
2. $75,200 in increased funding from Community Development Block Grant Funds for improvements at the Glenn Rieder Development.
3. $963,590 in emergency sanitary sewer repairs for the collapsing 57th Street sanitary sewer funded from remaining budgeted 2016 funds.
4. $943,000 in additional budgeted 2017 funding for street reconstruction improvements and storm sewer projects and sanitary sewer projects and water main projects.

And totaling $2,597,790 in additional funds and projects, and

WHEREAS, In accordance with s. 281.41, Wis. Stats., the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requires that a competent resident inspector be provided during the course of construction to insure that the improvements are installed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, and

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the Staffing Agreement between Aerotek, Inc. and the City of West Allis be accepted, and

WHEREAS, The West Allis Engineering Department has determined that this contract falls under the provisions of Revised Municipal Code 2.67 (6)(b) that allows for purchases of services that cost less than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to be made to the party who has submitted the lowest responsible and responsive proposal that is determined to be in the best interest of the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Staffing Agreement submitted by Aerotek, Inc. to provide...
