National Ave. and 1121 S 74th St. within the City of West Allis in the amount of $503,512.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 12 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 12 for the installation of storm sewer and sanitary sewer relay in:
West Mitchell Street from South 69th Street to South 70th Street
South 70th Street from West National Avenue to West Mitchell Street
South 71st Street from 275' North of West National Avenue to West National Avenue
South 72nd Street from 520' North of West National Avenue to West National Avenue
1121 S 74th St
(PLAN FILE NOS. S-1583, S-1586, S-1587, U-2631, U-2632)
for the sum of Five Hundred Three Thousand, Five Hundred Twelve and 00/100 dollars ($503,512.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
