Title
Resolution requesting approval to join WiscNet, a non-profit association, in order to obtain Internet Services for the City of West Allis for a total sum of $8,700.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department recommends the City of West Allis ("City") join the WiscNet Association ("WiscNet") in order to obtain internet services for the City; and

WHEREAS, WiscNet is a membership organization that provides research and education networking services to public and private higher education, K-12 school districts, libraries, municipalities, and hospitals throughout Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, WiscNet will provide the City unlimited internet bandwidth for $8,700.00 per year, which includes $1,500 annual membership fee and $7,200 annual fee for unlimited internet service.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") by and between WiscNet and the City of West Allis, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, as reviewed and approved by the City Attorney's Office, with funding provided by the Information Technology Professional Services Account No. 100-1101-517-30-12, be and is hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appropriate City Officials be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid MOU on behalf of the City of West Allis.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity, and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other ad further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions con...
