Resolution relative to the Notice of Hearing for the vacation and discontinuance of a portion of unimproved public right-of-way of W. Euclid Ave. on the east side of the 3200 block of S. 114 St.

 

Body

WHEREAS, as requested by the Richard Pomeroy, owner of 3218 S. 114 St., the City is considering vacating an approximate 60 ft. x 225 ft. portion of unimproved City right-of-way on W. Euclid Ave. east of S. 114 St.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the notice of hearing, for the vacation and discontinuance of an approximate 60 ft. x 225 ft. portion of unimproved City right-of-way on W. Euclid Ave. east of S. 114 St., be published in the official City newspaper on June 22, 2017, June 29, 2017 and July 6, 2017, and that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on August 1, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law on the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said portion of right-of-way proposed to be vacated and discontinued.
