Resolution relative to accepting the amended proposal of Cascade Engineering for furnishing and delivering recycling carts for a total sum not to exceed $1,130,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) Contract #20613CEI for furnishing and delivering recycling carts to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Cascade Engineering be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposals dated April 6, 2017, submitted by Cascade Engineering for providing 22,570 each of 96 gallon recycling carts, 225 each of 64 gallon recycling carts, lid labeling, assembly and distribution for a total net sum of $1,123,740.75, with funding provided by the Solid Waste Fund, and will be charged to Account Number 550-4233-535.70-03, be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
