Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of NOW Newspapers for providing legal notice publication services for a total sum of $14,000.

Body

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing Common Council proceedings and legal notices for the City of West Allis, and that the proposal received as shown on the attached bid report was reasonable; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of NOW Newspapers be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by NOW Newspapers for providing publication services for the period June 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018 for an estimated sum of $14,000 in accordance with the City of West Allis RFP# 17-012, with funding provided by the General Fund-City Clerk Advertising, Account Number 100-1501-517.54-02, be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
