Title
Ordinance to amend Subsection 12.45(2) of the Revised Municipal Code to allow hotels as Special Uses within the M-1 Manufacturing Zoning District.
Body
The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Section 12.06 of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to include the following term:

Hotel. A lodging use, other than a bed and breakfast and tourist home, where sleeping accommodations are offered for pay to transient guests for vacation, pleasure, recreation, culture, business or employment, in five (5) or more rooms, and all related rooms, buildings and areas. For the purposes of the zoning ordinance definition “motel" and “hotel" are synonymous.

PART II. Subsection 12.45(2)(a)1., of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code, is hereby amended to read:
(2) Special Uses.
(a) Those permitted in the C-4 District, except the following uses:
1. Any residential use;

PART III. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART IV. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
