Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of GHA Technologies for furnishing and delivering a Scale Computing hyper-convergent storage data solution, with accessories, and two years of support for a total sum of $61,785.86.

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering three (3) Scale computing data storage devices, three (3) Scale extended support for two years, twenty-one (21) Double Take software licenses, one (1) Scale migrate service, six (6) transceiver modules, seven (7) twin ax cables, two (2) Smart Web Switches, and two (2) rack mount ear packages, and that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of GHA Technologies be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 11, 2017, submitted by GHA Technologies for furnishing three (3) Scale Computing hyper-convergent storage solution with accessories for a total net sum of $61,785.86 in accordance with City of West Allis RFQ-17-010, with funding for this purchase from the General Fund - IT Capital Expenses, and will be charged to Account Number 100-1101-5107.70-08, be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
