Resolution Granting a Privilege for Encroachment (Major) to New Owner Westly Investments LLC for property located at 7519-33 West Becher Street (Tax Key No. 476-0442-000).

Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. R-2014-0103, adopted May 6, 2014, the City of West Allis granted to Beacher Investments LLC a certain Privilege for Encroachment Beyond the Lot Line and Within Public Street Right-of-Way consisting of existing two (2) four by four (4 x 4) foot platforms with the lowest portion to be at least fourteen (14) feet above the alley on the east side and above the sidewalk on the west side of the building, sign, awnings, and two (2) metal and wood park benches and outdoor ashtrays (to the left and right of the front door of the building) on the property located at 7519-33 West Becher Street ("Privilege"); and,

WHEREAS, the property has now changed ownership to Westly Investments LLC, who desires to retain the Privilege; and,

WHEREAS, the new owner of the property, Westly Investments LLC, desires to include the installation of a double sided hanging sign on a part of West Becher Street on the property located at 7519-33 West Becher Street.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of West Allis grants to Westly Investments LLC the Privilege for Encroachment Beyond the Lot Line and within Public Street Right-of-Way consisting of existing two (2) four by four (4 x 4) foot platforms with the lowest portion to be at least fourteen (14) feet above the alley on the east side and above the sidewalk on the west side of the building, sign, awnings, and two (2) metal and wood park benches and outdoor ashtrays (to the left and right of the front door of the building) and the installation of a double sided hanging sign on a part of South 76th Street and West Becher Street on the property located at 7519-33 West Becher Street.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that additional improvements on said area must require prior approval of the Board of Public Works.
