Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ferguson Waterworks, First Supply LLC, and HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing and delivering chimney seals, water boxes, gate valves, butterfly valves and extensions for a total sum of $144,472.86.

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for bid for furnishing various water supply items and related hardware for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis and that the proposal received was reasonable; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposals of Ferguson Waterworks, First Supply LLC, and HD Supply Waterworks be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposals dated February 9, 2017, submitted by Ferguson Waterworks for furnishing hydrant extensions, chimney seals, curb box extensions, corporation stops, and gate valves for street construction for a total net sum of $141,142.06, and the proposal dated February 8, 2017, submitted by First Supply LLC for butterfly valves and valve adapters for a total net sum of $2,204.80, and the proposal dated February 9, 2017, submitted by HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing hydrant extensions for a total net sum of $1,126.00, in accordance with City of West Allis RFP# 17-004, be and are hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
