Title

A Resolution Adopting Wisconsin Statute 66.0911 and Requiring that when water, heat, sewer and gas laterals or service pipes are constructed, the property owner is charged and it becomes a lien against the parcel served.

Body

                     WHEREAS, Section 66.0911 of the Wisconsin Statutes allows for the City to require work done by the City (or its contractors) constructing, servicing, etc. laterals or service pipes for water, heat, sewer and gas laterals to be charged to the lot or parcel and such changes shall become a lien on the lot or parcel; and,

                     WHEREAS, the City desires to utilize the ability to so charge for such lateral work.

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Section 66.0911 is hereby adopted and the City elects to exercise the powers contained therein.
