Resolution declaring West Allis Ala Carte scheduled for June 4, 2017 between Noon and 6:00 p.m. as a Community Event.
Body
WHEREAS, the Promotions Committee of the Downtown West Allis Business Improvement District, in partnership with Community Alliance Against Drugs (CAAD), the West Allis Senior Community and City of West Allis, plan to celebrate West Allis Ala Carte that will include live music, food vendors, children's games, artists, local organizations, and City Hall activities; and
WHEREAS, West Allis Ala Carte is scheduled for June 4, 2017, between Noon and 6:00 p.m., on W. Greenfield Ave. from S. 70 St. to S. 76 St. and the adjacent side streets, north and south to the alleys.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of West Allis declares West Allis Ala Carte as a community event and permits the possession and consumption of fermented malt beverages on City streets within the Business Improvement District boundaries on June 4, 2017 between Noon and 6:00 p.m.
